1. Use of the Service
TabLens allows users to upload Tableau workbook files (.twb, .twbx) for metadata analysis and visualization.
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms.
2. User Content & Ownership
- You retain full ownership of any files you upload.
- You confirm that you own the files or have the legal right to use them.
- TabLens does not claim ownership over user-uploaded content.
Uploaded files are processed solely for the purpose of providing the requested analysis.
3. Data Handling
- Uploaded files may be temporarily stored to enable processing.
- Files are not sold, shared, or reused beyond analysis.
- Permanent storage of uploaded files is not guaranteed.
4. Intellectual Property
The TabLens name, branding, and website content are the intellectual property of TabLens.
This service may use open-source software, including the Tableau Document API, licensed under the MIT License.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
TabLens disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to: - Accuracy of results - Availability of the service - Fitness for a particular purpose
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TabLens shall not be liable for any damages resulting from: - Use or inability to use the service - Uploaded files or extracted metadata - Decisions made based on the service output
7. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
